Paris City Council voted Monday to run for the city to host the Olympics in 2024, amid support from most of the parties represented therein.
And yet been announced for the allocation of two million euros from the public treasury of the Council of the municipality to file candidacy but the real support arrived with a report on the possibility of embracing the event by experts and handed over to the Mayor Anne Hidalgo last Thursday.
Hidalgo was not initially in favor of the issue of the Paris candidacy to host the event but Exhibition (Expo Universal) 2025.
And saw the mayor personally, when she was helping former Mayor Delanoe Bertron the city's failure to host the event twice in the past decade, but with the support of President Francois Hollande accepted the issue of candidacy.
According to a poll conducted by the company (Odoxa) and published today by the newspaper (Le Parisien), the 61% of the French support to host the event in front of 38% do not want things.
